Blooms Taxonomy (revised) is a helpful tool because it allows us to create a process of learning for our students. We can move children from lower order processing to deeper levels of learning through the various layers of Blooms Taxonomy. I believe that a good curriculum takes into account these different levels and provides layers of learning to help children develop their ability of each.
Before children are able to understand something, they need to first remember it.
Then in order to apply their learning, they must first understand it.
They can only evaluate their learning once they have analysed it.
And we can only create something new once we have worked through previous layers.
The structure of Blooms Taxonomy lends its naturally to scaffolding a lesson.

Here is a collaborative brainstorm of ideas for how to use ICT to reach the various levels of thinking according to Blooms Taxonomy.
